Satellite strategy: nothing like a regular MTT
- The goal is a ticket, not first place. In a ten-ticket satellite, 10th pays the same as 1st. Late on, you do not need chips, only survival.
- Normal early, tight in the middle, extremely tight on the bubble. Near the ticket line, medium stacks should fold almost everything and let short stacks knock each other out.
- Big stacks apply pressure on the bubble. You are the only one who can move freely; steal with small raises, but never call all-ins.
- Know your lock-up stack. Once your chips can last to the ticket line, even aces are not worth the risk.
- Flip & Go satellites are pure luck early; survivors return to normal satellite strategy.
ICM pressure is where beginners go wrong most. Players who bust calling an all-in on the bubble are usually thinking like it is a normal tournament. Practise bubbles with free chips in ClubGG qualifiers before real-money satellites.

What does a package include?

Can packages be cashed out?
Some GGPoker satellite packages convert in the client to tournament dollars (T$) usable only for other events, never withdrawable. Live-event packages are usually non-transferable.
How does satellite strategy differ from a normal MTT?
Several tickets of equal value are awarded, so first place pays the same as the last ticket. Late-stage play is about survival under heavy ICM pressure, avoiding needless confrontations.
What is the most realistic target for players from Taiwan?
APT Taipei (April and November). No visa, no flight, packages worth hundreds to a few thousand dollars, and relatively small satellite fields.
